Hampton University Veterans Education Transition for Success
What we are?
HU-VETS is a federally funded project that strives to increase veteran enrollment and graduate from Hampton University School of Nursing’s Baccalaureate of Science program.
The project is primarily for Veterans but active duty service members are welcomed to participate if they are within 12 months of the Estimated Time of Separation (ETS) date.
What is offered?
This project will assist Veterans who want to become nurses to successfully obtain a BS in Nursing. While the program does not offer scholarships or stipend, it does indeed offer advanced transferrable academic credits depending on military rank and/or prior education.
Interested applicants must first apply to Hampton University and once admitted, we will review your application for eligibility to enroll in the HU-VETS project.
